Attorney Kemp Hammond is an associate at the firm of Baldwin, Kagan & Gormley, LLC. Mr. Hammond obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and the Heuisler Honor Society. He was admitted to the Maryland State Bar in December 2008 and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in 2010.
After serving as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Nancy Davis-Loomis, Mr. Hammond became a prosecutor with the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office. As an Assistant State’s Attorney, Mr. Hammond litigated numerous criminal cases in district court, including felonies and misdemeanors. Mr. Hammond joined Baldwin, Kagan & Gormley, LLC after he left the State’s Attorney’s Office in January 2010. He practices in the areas of general civil litigation, business law, and criminal defense.
Mr. Hammond is a member of the Maryland State Bar Young Lawyers Association and the Anne Arundel County Bar Association.
