Jesse Iliff

Baldwin, Kagan & Gormley announced today that Jesse L. Iliff, Esq. has joined the firm as an Associate. Jesse received his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law and he is admitted to practice in Maryland.

Jesse comes to BKG from the Civil Justice Network in Baltimore, Maryland, where he served as a Research Fellow concentrating in a variety of real estate matters. He has also clerked in the Environmental Crimes Unit of the Office of the Attorney General in Maryland. Previously, Jesse served as an Asper Fellow with the Anne Arundel County Office of Law.

Baldwin, Kagan & Gormley Partner Jonathan Kagan will serve as Co-Chair, along with wife Marnie and Cathy and John Belcher, of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary Gala. The theme of the Ball, which will be held on Saturday, March 10 at the Loews Annapolis Hotel, is “In Full Swing at 50”. The black tie event is sponsored by Lexus, ARINC, Advanced Pain Management and BB&T and features an evening of fun, food, drinks and dancing. Guests will enjoy a delicious three course dinner, open bar, silent and live auction, and dancing to a live big band. Proceeds from the Ball support the artistic excellence and educational outreach programs of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra.

For 50 years, the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra has proudly served as the leading performing arts organization in Maryland’s capital city. The “Ripley Race,” as it is known locally, celebrates the life of Col. Ripley and benefits the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund (IMSFF). The IMSFF was created in order to provide wounded veterans and their families with financial assistance and quality of life solutions. Col. John H. Ripley, USMC (ret.), a 1962 Distinguished Graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, earned the Navy Cross for his heroic actions in Vietnam in 1972.

“We are honored to support the Ripley Race and its mission to improve the lives of wounded veterans,” explained Baldwin, Kagan & Gormley partner Jonathan Kagan. “Given the sacrifices our veterans and their families have made for us, this is a very small way that we can give something back.”
